Got my group in, theyre sooooo cute.
Able to rule in which species of the two they may be? Theyre tank raised, but thats all the history I have on them.

Re: Difference between loxozonus and cw125
If tank raised, they are probably as labeled. If they are still immature, I don't even know if the differences are visible yet.
All that said, I agree, they are darned cute! Enjoy them and take good care of them.
Cheers, Eric

Still young, so could be up in the air then.
What would I look for between the two? A couple have darker barred tails than the others so far

@rmc tells me that CW125 is much larger when full grown. I'm tagging him here.

Re: Difference between loxozonus and cw125
Oh wow those are large! Well that'll be a good way to tell! Thank you!
These guys are 3 months old and just 1 inch still, so lots of growing to find out, so ill measure them a year from now to see their size, but more likely I think gonna be the real loxozonus, theyre around the same size 3 month old trilineatus are, and seems loxos are about the same size as trilineatus.

Re: Difference between loxozonus and cw125
Here is a photo which belongs to Cory keeper Eugene Khoo. It shows C. loxozonus on left and CW125 on right. Both fish are adults.
I had no idea the size difference was so great. You can also see differences in color pattern, especially in the top row of small spots, which look more like vertical lines in CW 125.
Cheers, Eric

Oof, now they've colored up, one or two have vertical spots. So looks like I'll still have to wait till theyre full grown.

Interesting these adorable guys are starting to grow extended fin rays to their dorsal.

Re: Difference between loxozonus and cw125
Are dorsal extensions something normal with this fish? Photos here and on other sources of both loxo and 125 don't show the extensions, so I dont know based on that.
