Rubberlip pleco confirmation

Picked this up from the store, was mixed in their clown plecos... much darker in store compared to the tank of other rubberlips a couple tanks over.


I think probably just C. Formosae, but he seemed abnormally dark in the store, and he has a black spot between the dorsal spine and 2nd ray. Faint markings to the tail as well.

Awesome thanks! He was a nice looking fish, gotta fatten him up though as he's a little skinny. One of the nicest ones I've seen in store. Most are wasted away and sickly. So hoping to have saved him before he wasted away too.
