L191 Identification Question

Post by ClayT101 »

I have a question about the L191 dull eye royal pleco. IMO, the L191 is the fish seen in the AJ Aquatics attachment. However, I have been to a wholeseller that had the fish in the Bluegrass Aquatics attachment listed as L191. Are there 2 species that are coming in as L191? Thoughts?

I think you would need to reach out and ask for current photos of their actual fish. The above photos could simply be stock photos or even just photos they took from an internet search. You would also need to confirm where the fish were collected as Colombia exports several Panaque. Also who applied the identification? The exporter, importer, or retailer?

Also sounds like someone mixing up L190 and L191.
