L-046 boys or girls?

Post by Chill »

I am pretty certain of what I have, but there is so much confusing information on how to sex them.
I didn't wan't to disturb them to much, so I only took a few quick shots.
Any good suggestions

hi there, i believe that you have two males and female from left to right. keep them together in a small tanks with plenty of fresh water and small hiding places. one of the males will eventually pair off with your female and then the smiles begin. that is if you have two male and a female.

I didn't explain well enough, it's 5 different zebras.
I have 2 more in stock, but I didn't want to put them through a full photo session at this point.
So I just took a few quick pictures, and to be hounest poor shots.

Hi Chill

My pennies worth is top 2 at LHS are males, and the one on the LHS on the second picture also looks like a male, but thats just an (almost -educated) guess.

cheers

My wife made the mistake of buying me a 2 ft tank and it grew to 7ft.

soor, my mistake for not realising. im going to go against what i said before when i had another look. c+p to photoshop that helps. i think the one in the bottom picture that is up against the side of the tub is going to be a female and the one on the left is a male. dunno. make some slate hideyholes ____________________________________________________________=====

kinda like that, and see if who pairs off. thats the only way and if they are like mine and at a size where they are too small to +sex. mine are around an inch and a half and then the start to darken up if males, and get to about 2 inch. my females stay at about an inch and a half for a while and then grow on slower than the males. dunno, just noticed this.

anyway good luck with the smiling, prepare those face muscles well!!! the grinning hurts man!!!
