Paroon Shark?!?!

Hi.
I've been reading up on the Paroon shark and realize it should NOT be keept in a tank.
The problem is that in my local petstore they "keep" a paroon shark.
The fish is about 40 cm (15") and is keept in a 200 l (52 gallon) tank. I can't bear to see an animal being treated like this.

I'm thinking of bying it and I'm wondering if I could give it a "better" life.
If I could, what size should the tank be???
I've been looking at tanks that are 720-1152 l. I know that no tank keept at home can give this fish a good life, but my question is: would it suffer as much in a bigger tank (720-1152 l) or would I be doing it a favor?
Please reply so I know what to do

No home aquarium is ever likely to be big enough, and by buying it, even with the best of intentions, you would be helping feed demand for these fish.

The thing is that all the stores I went to do NOT import or sell paroon shark, including the store that keeps that ONE fish. That's why I'm even considering getting it, knowing another poor fish WON'T take its place in the pet store. So...???

My view would be, don't create a rod for your own back. Enjoy keeping fish in your aquaria that you have purchased because you wanted to, not because you felt morally obliged to. I can understand how you feel, but if you have the resources to support a large aquaria then use it for fish that will really interest you and bring you pleasure in the long term.
