after waiting almost nine months for my next drink of one of the best rum's in the world (my opinion) i finnaly got my hands on two bottles of Brugal extra viejo and one bottle of BarcelÃ³ aÃ±ejo from Dominican Republic and im so happy that i just had to share my feelings at the moment, because im not going to share one drop of the carabian gold

I am not much of a drinker ,but I just put to sleep a bottle of Brugal AÃ±ejo that nobody wanted. BUT, you will never taste the best rums of the caribbean those of moonshinnig proweless!!!!Cured with anything and everything from raisins to ocean fleas and top off with ...the member of a male sea turtle(the dominican Mama Juana). BTW, ITS ALL ILLEGAL and to powerfull (at least in Puerto Rico Pitorro will get you in jail). So I sitck with Bacardi if anything at all, can't go wrong with the local rum you know.

i tried some mamajuana when i was in Dominican Rep. between august 2002 and july 2003, it was ok but i didn't drink to many of them, i was more of an rum drinker and only after one week everybody gave me the nickname Cuba for my habits with the rum and coke

, after a few weeks more they gave me another nick:

because of my adaption to the Dominican way

I hope to get back there soon and also to visit some of the other islands over there.
