Hi from Hot and Humid Florida

Post by fishfortress »

Just wanted to say hello. This is a great site....very informative. :D We currently have two tanks...a 55 gallon (rectangle) and a 30 gallon Hex. We are new to this, but we are reading a great deal about what, when, how, and why on the internet. The 55 gallon is FW and has 2 Silver Tip Shark Catfish (Columbian Sharks) and 2 Pangasius Catfish (Irridescent Sharks) in it. The 30 gallon Hex is FW and has 8 Platys (the sunset one might be pregnant), 1 Ghost Catfish, and 2 Bala Sharks in it. They are all juveniles so, we are planning to get another tank or two somewhere down the road... a friend has a 65 gallon hex that they are wanting to get rid of...the only thing is, they have had it for 15 years and haven't cleaned it for about 2...it has fish in it already and they want the fish to be taken with it. We are leary about taking it.
Anyway, I just wanted to say HI!
P.S. We already know how big Pangasius Catfish (Irridescent Shark) can get so no need to get into that. We will do what we can for the fish.
