48" tank filtration

Post by Woody »

G'day all,

Further to my last post regarding my new tank setup, what I intend to do is purchase 2 x Fluval 404 filters one for a partial U/G setup and the other for general water, does this sound like a good set up to anyone. I will be putting lots of different Corry's in the tank and probably a couple of L022's.

Regards,
Woody

hi woody,

thats plenty of filtration, but i would scrap the undergravel filter (i presume with gravel) and use sand instead. the corys will prefer it and you will have more success with plants.

Thanks for your input I have gone with your idea (racoll) and am going to scrap the U/G.
