Welcome to August! This announcement is to let you know that this monthsâ?? catfish of the month is the fearsome Asterophysus batrachus and itâ??s online now!
The past month has seen a raft of cat-elog additions including the resurrection of the Corydoradine genus, Scleromystax. Corydoras barbatus no more! Aside from that, there are some new species of Microsynodontis, the pictures of the newly described Corydoras difluviatilis & C. diphyes and some excellent shots of Hemiloricaria teffeana amongst the 100+ images added to the site in July.
I mentioned in a recent dispatch that I had a mountain of images to work through and the above additions are about half of that. Iâ??m working on the next load now. Technically, weâ??re looking at new chatroom software, but itâ??s proving something of an odyssey â?? more news when we have it.
Look forward to some pictures of captive bred Phyllonemus amongst the load of new pics and some nice new shots of a Bagrus marinus too.
