Help with id on this syno please

Post by wild-tiger »

I would like to give thanks in advance for any help I may get with this id. I posted pics once before when this guy was much smaller and was told it was a eupterus, however now these he's grown quite a bit I really do not think that is what it is. He/she has no "feather" to the finnage at all and the coloration is rather strange for a eupterus I think.

Here are several pics I don't think any are all that good (which is why I am posting several) but perhaps someone will be able to tell from these pics exactly what this is.

It looks like Synodontis ocellifer.
