Hi all Planet Catfishers,

In accordance with my registration email I'm introducing myself. My name's Rachel and I live in southern Sydney, Australia.

I have a featherfin catfish and a couple of Bronzes, plus some sharky type things that aren't catfish.

I only got my tank a couple of years ago. the featherfin was the first fish I got, and so far he's the longest survivor. I had some other little fish, but then accidentally got a pair of Jack Dempseys without knowing what they were. They decimated my population, and I had to separate them from the featherfin, as he was starting to break out in bite marks.

The last of the dempseys died a little while ago, and I've finally been able to re-establish the tank as the peaceful, tranquil environment I think it ought to be.

From time to time I'll probably write panic stricken messages asking for advice, mostly related to health issues, but from what I've been able to gather, catfish are pretty hardy.

Cya

Rachel
