what's that catfish ? and where does it come from ?

Seems not to be a Catfish, but some kind of loach. Looks to me like a coldwater species of some kind.

Also a nice fish, though a catfish is to be preferred in my tanks :razz:

Good luck keeping him.

Actually it's a very nice loach.

The cold-water variety is OK in a coldwater trank; one of the few fish that stay small.

there's an Asian tropic variety too; this is a very peaceful fish that does well in a tank with Corydoras, Barbs, Characins etc.
I've had them for years and years in the past.
