how about a pic of the whole tank? more plants, hide the gear, and maybe bigger fish in midwater?

I noticed your sword plant is not very tall and has a bunch of leaves low on the plant. The onion plant is only a couple inches tall. That is usually a sign that you do not have enough watts on your light system.

Another thing not helping out is all of the runners coming off of the sword plant. All of those runners take away from the energy being put into the main plant. With better lighting it wouldn't be as much of a problem but with what you have I would remove the runners.

the onion is fresh

and the sword is low because its all but eaten up dam placo lolol i am letting the runners grow a little since the plant(mother) sword is all but eaten up

When keeping swords I usually try for 3 watts per gallon.
