Pictus Catfish or white tip shark???

I was told she was a shark by my friend who i got her from then on a message board someone said shes a pictus cat and i need to get rid of her.

Get rid of her? Did they say why? You may want to get rid of it being that as an adult Colombian Shark Catfish needs saltwater.

Ill get her a bigger saltwater tank as she gets older and needs it, my friend is sending me 3 more of them. She is only 3in long right now.

She starts out in freshwater, moving to brackish, and finally full salt as she matures. If you want to learn more about the species, you can also search under arius seemani or columbian shark.
