Batrochoglanis raninus: "bumblebee jelly catfish"

Post by squirrellyrabbit »

I recently bought a few of these and I am concerned because they are never out and about, even at night. They are in a tank with red-finned loaches (botia modesta) who greedily appear to eat up all the food I lay down for them. Is anyone familiar with this species? Can it fend for itself or had I better move it to new quarters?

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. This is a catfish that one does not see much of (if at all), but boy, will they eat.
