Striped Pictus??

Post by rsi77 »

I bought several catfish from a petshop nearby that were called "Angelica". I had heard that this is a synonym for Pictus catfish. But now I have noticed that these guys are striped, not spotted like all the Pictus I see in pictures. However, they sure act like Pictus (according to all that I've read about them). Can anyone tell me if there are striped versions of Pictus catfish? Are they essentially the same fish?
Thanks,
Ron

My Catfish

Those look similar, but the stripes on my guys are without interruption from front to back--and both the white and gray/black stripes are solid. I'll try to post a picture when I get home tonight.
Thanks,
Ron
