He's Beat up and I have no clue what he is....
This fish was sold to me as a common syno cat - I had my two year old with me and couldnt really pay attention to what I was getting and obviously they took advatange of that big time! I got the little cat home and couldnt figure out why he looked so funny. I have since come to the conclusiion that he has been beat up pretty badly - his face is scraped up and he has a scrape down each side that runs all the way to his tail. it also looks like he is missing his top fin! there is nothing there, just a hump!!!! He's still swimming real good and plays and looks happy - this is the best pic of him I can get as Ive been trying all morning. If its not good enough, I can scoop him out and put him in a glass or something. Can anyone tell what kind he is??

unfortunately, yes, he was. Like I said, I didnt notice it at the store due to everything that was going on..my kid was nutting up over all the tanks and animals.... I noticed it when I got home. The LFS is about 30 miles away so Im not even going to worry about taking him back - Im not going back to that LFS again - they have screwed me over more than once in the past two weeks. Ill just try to take care of him and find someplace else to shop from now on.racoll wrote:was he like that when you bought him?
