When mature, the females tend to be larger, and plumper than the males.

If you have them in a tank where you can view them from the side, females will have a rounded tummy along their bottom line, with a rounded, blunt genitalia. Males tend to be very straight all the way back with a very pointed genitalia that is very easy to spot, once you know what you're looking for. Hope that helps!

Hiya,

Could I ask if not mature/not gravid female is also thin? Does yours small petricolas (about 3cm) stay thin or they are plump?
