Hoplos--optimum sex ratio

Post by Chrysichthys »

I bought 6 juvenile Megalechis thoracata about a year ago, and it's now apparent that I have five females and one male. Just wondering how this will work out if they decide to breed.

One male should be enough, as they apparently are quite territorial when breeding. I've never bred Hoplo's although I have kept them once in a while. They're quite funny :-)
