There was no other info on the bag of 5 of them. Anyone know what they are under?

San Juan is just the name of the area that they are caught from, usually C. Elegans or C. Napoensis.

San Juan cory is the common name given to C. bilineatus. It's in the Cat-eLog.

I have to disagree HH.
Last year I purchased 12 Corys that came in as San Juan and they were Elegans and Napoensis, yet again the exporter using a made up name that causes confusion.

Well, I bought fish labelled as San Juan cories before and they were definitely C. bilineatus.
Blast these common names.

Common names are a pain in the A** The whole elegans group are a mess ane really need sorting, there are new versions cropping up all the time.
Have a look at.
