Cordylancistrus torbensis duplicated as Chaetostoma sp (3)

Chaetostoma sp (3):

are exactly the same fish (even same individual)

It still happens...

Is Cordylancistrus a valid genus? or has been placed as subgenus as this suggest, with Leptoancistrus and Dolichancistrus?

So far Cordylancistrus is regarded here as a synonym for Chaetostoma, thus being an invalid genus/name.
However, in the Mergus Atlas it is regarded as a valid genus.
There has been quite a discussion on this matter, but I can't remember where & when. Can anyone help Jorge out here pls?
