shrimps as tank mates is it possible?

hello,

I will soon build my 340 almost :wink: all pleco tank...
I wanted to keep with my plecos some taiwan and cristal red shrimp... but i'm afraid that the plcs will eat them or the baby shrimp....

should I be worried?

I would think that would be fine. There are no real predators in the Loricariidae family, so as long as the shrimp don't sit still and accept to be eaten [i.e. they try to get away] they should be fine.

I have tons of cherry shrimp in my river tank... it's my new breeding factory :D I keep them with L18s, sturisoma, ottos, siamese algea eaters, and a killi loach. I swear that the population doubles every 3 weeks! You should be fine.
