The Fair City Aquarist Society's Open Show and auction is on Sunday 27th September in Perth. I'll probably have a few in the auction then.

the catfish study group auction is an event i would be very interested in visiting Mats, ultimate aquatics had "Galaxy driftwood catfish" on their stock list but when i phoned to enquire what exact species they were they could'nt tell me so i did'nt make the trip to find out, still a very good shop though.

mummymonkey, could you give me some info of the location and time of the auction please,my wife and young son will be away next weekend and this would be an ideal chance for me to get along to the auction.
i had a look on the FCAS website but dont know Perth very well.

That is LIKELY to be Tatia intermedia or T. galaxias - more likely the former.

Unfortunately, I'm going to miss the Show & Auction, because my wife has broken a bone in her foot last night.

I think I'll pass on that one. Google maps says it's about 8 hours to drive to Perth...

i had a look on the FCAS website but dont know Perth very well.
All the info is here. (Click the name of the town for a Google Map)

Last year lots of very nice fish went for very little money. Hopefully the prices will be a little fairer this time.
See you there (I'm the auctioneer so say hello!)
