Fins certainly look like S. decora, and the pattern will vary with age (and individuals - I have one I call "stripey" because it's got a stripe down the side, rather than a spot).

I agree. I wrote something on this some years ago after buying some very small hormone produced (not hybridised) euptera, where one turned out as what was described as galinae, and the others normal. Just a deformity of the head basically. My article (quoted on the Catalog of Fishes) was:
