I agree with Jools!

Bigger plecos can have some kind of "cave try out", juring the mating period. I've seen this in borh L91 and L240. They stay for a long period of time in one cave, and all the sudden they spawned in another cave, often juring the night.

From my experience they always spawned then I raised the temperature a little bit, when they having their "cave try out"

New cave build, silicon curing at present. Go in the tank tomorrow evening, I think... Hopefully, the fish will like it!

Well, the new cave is in, but I think the warm/sunny weather isn't helping them feel spawny. Whilst I enjoy the nice weather, I think the fish would prefer a bit of low pressure and rain... At least, that's when they were the most active a couple of weeks ago.
