more syno petricola questions

Hi all,
I have six syno petricola in a 29 gal tank that I'm raising and I have some questions for all the experts. The six I have now are about 2 inchs should I get a larger tank and more fish? or would 6 be enough to get a spawn out of them?

All it takes is two... ...one male and one female

They will spawn in a MOB, but it's not a behavioral requirement or anything. The first time I had these spawn (several years ago) was with three WC fish in a 30gallon tank.
