Although there was a CSG club meeting on one of the days it was decided that the club stand should be taken to Hayling Island, where The Federation of British Aquarist was holding a "Festival of Fish keeping" weekend, There was quite a lot going on over the weekend ranging from differing fish shows including catfish, discus and goldfish. During the two days of the Festival many people of all ages sought advice and assistance on a range of things relating to catfish, from identification queries to husbandry questions. One question that was asked a lot was "Can I buy some goldfish"?.!, although the next stand to ours was the Goldfish society of GB, I couldn't help wondering "How they could confuse Catfish from Goldfish"? It wasn't as though we didn't display enough information on our stand.**
BTW Kenliz nice to meet you both, maybe you can attend the CSG's conventions, long weekend in February 2006 & how's the book?
More on the FBAS Festival of Fish Keeping weekend in the next edition of the CSG Journal.
