My new panda babies

Post by fishparent »

They are SOOOOOOO cute! Wow. I have 5, about 1/2" long each. They are in a 10 gal all alone, w/ lots of hiding places and such.

4 of them seem very happy. They swim around in a cheerful school and hang together.

#5 is pouting. He stays inside a fake log 95% of the time, and the occasional times I see him out, he's not w/ the others.

Is he just anti-social? Nervous? Sick?

Also, I am feeding them algae pellets and Pro-Gold goldfish food, plus snacks of brine shrimp, waterfleas, and bloodworms. Other suggestions? They seem to be eating (although I have yet to view He Who Hides eating).

Finally, the books I read suggested 75-79F as an appropriate temp, but I've seen suggestions on this list for lower temps for pandas -- more like 72F. Thoughts on this??

Thanks!

I've allways know 72-79 is well suited to them. I keep mine in 78 with no problems for about 10 months now. Great Cory's :D
