Motoro rays will grow to around 40-50 cm in diameter, so you'd neeed a pretty good-size tank... Something that is at least 2-3 meter long and a meter wide, with a decent height to it. 2-3000 liter, that is...

Hi pictus man, I keep 4 Leopoldi Stingray's. When i had just two i had them in a 60"x24"x24", and they where ok for a while, the thing with ray's is they are so messy, so as much filtration as you can stand. When i got my 3rd ray i could not keep water quality, so a bigger tank it was. They are in a tempary tank at the moment, but i have ordered a 84"x30"widex24"high. With a 60"x18"x18" sump/filter.

Big uns!

And Freshwater Stingrays are REALLY FUSSY when it comes to nitrates and pollution, they can handle far less than, say, a TSN or so.
with these things massive biofilters and large waterchanges are a MUST.
