Pictures of egg-filled cories?

Post by chrisinha »

Where can I see pictures of "pregnant" female cories? I have a c. trilineatus that looks a bit fatter. I hope she's not sick. :(

My Paleatus corys are in spawning mode at the moment. The female is definitely bigger in body than the male, and you can just see the eggs in the lower part of her body before the colouration starts. I wasn't sure when I first noticed it, but she spawned soon after so I am almost entirely sure that is eggs I can see. My trils have never spawned for me, but I can see that I have a big female who probably would if I gave her the right condition.

I don't know if I can get a pic of my eggy paleatus, but if I do, I'll post it for you... 8)
