Panaque maccus and Bristlenose compatibility
Does anyone have experience housing a single Panaque maccus and a common Bristlenose (Ancistrus) together? How do they get along? Assuming the tank is set-up with discrete areas, etc., what would you say is the minimum tank size for best compatibility?

That should work just fine. I haven't kept a single of each, but in my big tank there's three and a several . No problems at all with that.
The P. maccus is a pretty good hider, while the bristlenose will be more forthcoming. Bristlenose will probably eat most of the vegetable stuff, but given enough wood, that shouldn't be a problem.
Minimum tank size would be something that is at least 12 x 24" floor-space (which gives both fish around 12 x 12" to live in). Bigger is obviously better here...
