Hi, I baught this fish as a butter cat. i have two of them they dont seem to seek eachother out for company. They also dont seem to rest on the bottomb like most fish other than that i cant really tell you much else. The pictures are horrible i know, I'll try to get better ones tonight but just wanted to get it out there so you can start your brains thinkin on what he might be.

AFAIK they're very small (I don't think much bigger than say 6 cm or so, when mature), very peaceful and you can keep them in small groups (3-7).
They should eat any food; ccording to a shopkeeper who currently has them; free floating live food is eaten, among others (like waterflea's -Daphnia- cyclops etc)

They're a bit fragile, so rowdy companions should be avoided.
Plan B should not automatically be twice as much explosives as Plan A

Chandramara chandramara (I think it may be a species of Batasio) are not that rare. They are regularly imported and sold as hummingbird catfish.
They are very, very delicate, and I have experienced the same kinds of problems keeping them in the long run as with Glyptothorax, i.e. they will eat, but will gradually waste away and die.

Yes, they will eat the foods you mentioned. Not so much the flakes, though.
