no clue what this one is

Hi, I baught this fish as a butter cat. i have two of them they dont seem to seek eachother out for company. They also dont seem to rest on the bottomb like most fish other than that i cant really tell you much else. The pictures are horrible i know, I'll try to get better ones tonight but just wanted to get it out there so you can start your brains thinkin on what he might be.

Thats deffinately it, Any idea how big they get?? What foods they preffer?? If i should get more??? And any other info you or anyone else could give me would be great. Are these fish very rare??

AFAIK they're very small (I don't think much bigger than say 6 cm or so, when mature), very peaceful and you can keep them in small groups (3-7).
They should eat any food; ccording to a shopkeeper who currently has them; free floating live food is eaten, among others (like waterflea's -Daphnia- cyclops etc)

They're a bit fragile, so rowdy companions should be avoided.

<i>Chandramara chandramara</i> (I think it may be a species of <i>Batasio</i>) are not that rare. They are regularly imported and sold as hummingbird catfish.
They are very, very delicate, and I have experienced the same kinds of problems keeping them in the long run as with <i>Glyptothorax</i>, i.e. they will eat, but will gradually waste away and die.

Alright thanks guys, I dont think I'll get anymore unless i can get them their own tank for now these two seem to be doing well enough in with the other fish. Iv been feading flakes,bloodworms,shrimp pellets are these suitable foods??? Thanks

Yes, they will eat the foods you mentioned. Not so much the flakes, though.
