whats the trick with tubifex worms?

Post by Zack »

Hi, my fish seem to like this food but can never eat them because as soon as they start nibbling on them they float to the top. I'm talking about the squares that you press onto the side of your tank. is there some trick to getting them to stay there longer like soaking them or something like that??

Soak them until they soften and press all the bubbles out. It's also a good idea to wait until the cube actually breaks up. I think you will find that some of the freeze dried worms will sink, but others remain stubbornly afloat. There's pretty much nothing you can do about the floaters.
