Really Plump Fish

Post by AndrewC »

When moving some fish yesterday, i noticed this fish was a lot more plump than the rest.
There are five in the tank looking plump, but this one looks really plump to me compared to the rest, hopefully it's nothing but wanted to check;

That's what i was hoping, they have just been moved into another tank so i'll let them settle for a week or two first.

I concur with Andy, looks like a gravid female to me. What hypansistrus species are they, Andrew?
