Hey all. I'm trying to find a picture that shows brooding, and hopefully lip brooding, in Loricariinae, though I've had less luck then I thought. Anyone know where I can find a picture like that? I'm trying to find a ventral view of brooding, if possible. Don't worry, I'm not going to use it for any illegal purposes. I'm writing a paper for class and I want to include some pictures.

Re: Picture
Searching the images with captions give a few results when entering "brood". There are probably others.

If you're still looking for one, let me know and I'll go take some. I've got males on eggs just now.

Re: Picture
Jeez HH, that's a crazy pic! I didn't know that they actually stuck the eggs to themselves. Thanks a bunch!

HH,
I have got to know more about the Ancistrus shown in the pic with the red seams. I've never seen one like that, and really want one (or a dozen).

Impossible only means that somebody hasn't done it correctly yet.

Re: Picture
I am trying to track it down, but unfortunately, Mark Sabaj was not able to answer directly, so I have send another e-mail to the brazilians that supposedly knows. I will let everyone know when I get something (hopefully we will be able to put a picture in the Cat-eLog as well).pleco_breeder wrote:HH,
