Hi!
I have finally sold my 2 S.lima and now my 240 litre (120x40x50cm) tank is free of mid-upperlevel fishes. The remaining fishes are 2x L137, 1x LDA28, 1x L114 and 7 Corys (trilineatus,leopardus,reticulatus).
The temperature is around 26°C depending on my room temp and season. pH is sub 7 at 6.8 with medium hard water. Furniture is wood only with a few stones. Current quite good but not too strong.
I was wondering if a small group of some Geophagus or Satanoperca would be allright? Or rather go with some Apistos or even Tetras...im quite open to your ideas if the fish are from SA and are quite colorful.
greetings
C

never have kept them, but I plan on it sometime soon... any of the incredibly colorful Heros species that are available, or Uaru ferdinandyepezi... cories might be in trouble, but I'm somewhat amazed the limas didn't devour them..
Poking a bit of fun? http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?d ... 2-16&res=l

hehe right thinking...the limas went on friday and i added the cories today from another tank...they were with the limas till the bigger one got to 23 cm and he never bothered any of them. He also ignored any Ancistrus fry which i found very amazing.
The new owner of my limas has a pair of Uarus...a bit big for my tank...
