ok well i have a 29 gallon tank i was wonderin can i keep a pleco in their and how many?

also how fast do they grow and what can i feed them??

Hi!

Welcome here!

The term pleco refers to a great bunch of fishes. Theres small ones that reach 3 cm and big ones that get to 1,2 meters so theres one for everyone...:)
It would be nice if you give more info on the fishes and water chemistry and setup you have for us to give proper advice. Also your location (normally people here put it in their profile) might help narrow down your search.
If you meant the common pleco (Liposarcus pardalis or one of the "other" commons) they all grow huge and theres a lot of great smaller species on the market...
