Jaguar catfish sore head

Post by Jordanlewis100 »

Hi all not posted too often but i have an issue with my jaguar cat rubbing his/her head sore on the inside of it’s preferred cave, do you think I should remove this (earthenware pleco cave) or do you think I could glue some fine filter sponge to the inside as it seems to be quite abrasive to me, the tank is 5ft 135 gallon with sump and a variety of driftwood, roots and plants thanks for any replies Paul

It sounds that the tank is well scaped and the jaguar needs not the cave. Plenty of natural and skin-friendly hideouts.
