Some BLOGs not displaying Fry sizes

Hi Jools,

I'm noticing that some BLOG entries show fry sizes at various ages and others don't display them. For example, if you check my BLOGS for

Dekeyseria picta

and

Rineloricaria eigenmanni

, you'll see fry sizes listed in the Dekeyseria BLOG but not in the Rineloricaria BLOG, even though I've entered fry sizes in both.

Follow up: Right now I do not have any data for Rineloricaria fry size at 1 week old (so the entry field contains the default "0" mm), and when I view the complete BLOG, I see no fry sizes listed. But if I change the size at 1 week from "0" mm to a random number greater than zero (I used "1" mm), then save and view the BLOG, THEN all of the size entries appear. If I delete the "1" mm entry at 1 week of age and replace it with "0" mm, then all of the fry sizes disappear again when the BLOG is viewed.

Conversely, I do have size at 1 week listed for the Dekeyseria BLOG, and all the fry sizes display. If I change the value at 1 week from its current number ("10" mm) to the default "0" mm, then all the other fry sizes disappear when this BLOG is viewed.

I don't recall ever noticing that behavior on BLOGS in years past, but maybe it's always been there?

This makes sense given the code I am looking at. What it did was check (3 times, incorrectly) if the 7 days size field was empty or not, if not then the 7, 14 and 21 information was displayed.

I have changed this to be what the code should have done which is check if any of the 7,14 or 21-day size data has a non zero value and if so then display the text.

Could you try the process above and confirm the behaviour is changed to be as you would expect?

For Dekeyseria picta: with 7 days set to 10 mm and then to 0 mm. Seems to work correctly now.

I could improve that and put "not recorded" in for the zero entry - let me have a look at it....

Fixed it up, it simply doesn't display a particular size if there is no data for it.
