Bought five juvenile Bristlenose but this looks like something else—Gold spot, maybe?

Post by PlecoHobbyist »

I bought some very small Bristlenose plecos from a local store. One of them was slightly larger than the rest and it has now grown to 4+ inches in just a few months. The other Bristlenose from the same batch are about 1.5 inches long. This one (on the left) has more golden coloring in its spots and its dorsal is more dramatic than the common Bristlenose I’ve seen. Any idea which fish this is? Thanks so much.
