What kind of syndontis is my catfish ?

Post by Sarahkvanderpool »

This catfish was given to me with some cichlids. It has a good amount of what appear to be scars. Has been eating catfish pellets well. I am hoping for a more specific ID so I know how to better care for it. If it needs some tunnels, other catfish family to live with and any other specific diet needs. It does enjoy zucchini!

Hi,

Welcome to PlanetCatfish!

This is . In terms of the scarring, search the forum for "lateral line erosion".

Cheers,
