Corydoras CW numbers

Does anyone know the timeline when which corydoras CW number was assigned (year and month please) or where can I find it

Hello Patje,

Welcome to Planetcatfish!

The CW numbers are curated on the website CorydorasWorld.com. I'm not aware of a timeline posted there with the dates of each number assignment, but it may exist.

Unlike the L- and C- numbers, which were published in issues of the magazine DATZ, CW-numbers are continuously updated on the CorydorasWorld website, so if you look back, there's no residual publication date that can be gleaned from a magazine issue.

There will be a new book published soon, Identifying Corydoradinae Catfishes 'Second edition'. That might have dates, but I don't know that either.

Thanks for your reply. Still, by surfing the internet I already have some CW numbers
Example CW174 and CW175 received their numbers in 2021.
More examples CW183 & CW184 & CW185 numbers in 2022.
I hope to be able to compile a complete list one day

All newer numbers you should be able to track down by the post dates of Tyner announcements on Facebook or on the CW website. But older ones might be difficult to pin down. I wish you success!
