Albino Hifin Cory
Hey, everyone... I got a pair of cories from a fish auction today, labeled as C. macropterus. After looking at the profile here, I have a hard time believing that's what I have in my quarantine tank.
Here's a link to a pic of the female on yahoo:

Hopefully, it's not too fuzzy. This was the best pic I could get out of a few different shots; they're very active and have been chowing on the frozen daphnia I put in there, so I had a hard time getting them to sit still.
I'm pretty suspicious about the species name because of the female's large dorsal fin. In the profile on C. macropterus, the female has a shorter dorsal fin. They pretty much look like albino C. aeneus with longer fins... I know those cories are pretty easy to breed, so I'm wondering if this is just another version. I checked around on this site for a while, as well as a few google searches, and I have yet to come across anything on my new guys.
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help, guys. I totally forgot about paleatus cories; that does make more sense than the aeneus, even.
I'm still wondering, though- is it possible for the females to have longer dorsal fins than in fishnut's pic? The one I thought is a female has that really chunky look to it... like other female cories I've seen. They're supposed to be a pair, as well, which I why I still ask. I suppose the supplier didn't label them correctly as species, so he could've sexed them incorrectly, but they really do look like a pair as far as body shape goes.
