A couple of you have asked me about whether the hotel for the All-Aquarium Catfish Convention will allow visitors to set up aquaria or other containers in which to hold fish in their rooms during the convention. The hotel has indicated that this is fine but prefers that they be set up in the bathroom area of the rooms. Paul Turley had an excellent suggestion which is to bring plastic boxes instead of glass tanks for this purpose. We will be providing a bulletin board at the convention for those who want to post fish sales from their rooms.
Also we were discussing the various times that would be best for the PlanetCatfish forum members to get together and share a beer. The consensus seemed to be that the happy hour before the banquet on Saturday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm would be best. The happy hour and banquet will be eld in the hotel's atrium area and we will have a PlanetCatfish poster put up on one side of the room for those folks who want to meet in person and see the faces behind the online aliases. We will also put a line in the convention guide's schedule so that everyone knows where and when to meet.
