Scobinancistrus = Panaque ?

Post by Jorge »

According to Armbruster revision of Hypostominae, Scobinancistrus has now to be renamed to Panaque? I see that the Cat-e-log still keep the old name "Scobinancistrus" Is this OK?

perhaps you think it needs new revision?

Perhaps.

While the most up-to-date position is to use Panaque, there are a number of other factors. For now, I'm thinking about this and other related changes that have been discussed elsewhere.

Flux.
