Re: L236? Can anyone ID?

I just got a PM from someone, I'm not gonna name him, but he told me that according to Ingo Seidel, they are not L236 and not from Iriri, they are more beautiful than L236 and quite rare. Anyway, thanks for the help, I actually sent a picture to Ingo last night, but haven't gotten reply back from ...

Re: L236? Can anyone ID?

Actually, a friend of mine is good friend of the owner. He is offering him the frys from the ones pictures above. The reason I asked is, even the owner himself is kinda not sure anymore, after being told that they are not L236, collection point is Rio Iriri.

Re: Aquabid Advice

Thanks for the offer, just looking out for everyone. I noticed it when someone pointed he's auction for an L25 and having 0/0 and being in the same location as the one on PF, not having a picture, but instead, a planetcatfish picture.. Then I ran into your auction and saw him bidding on your auction ...

I got a question, when does the male starts growing small odontodes along their back between the dorsal fin and caudal peduncle? I have a dozen wild caught in ranges of 3.0" to 3.25" and none of them seems to have any odontodes growth along their back. Also, I noticed that all of them likes to hang ...

Re: Brachyplatystoma tigrinum

Yes, I'm planning to put them in a bigger tank in the future. I have a chance to pick up some 2-3 inchers for a real good price, just wanted to know if I can have more than 1, thinking of getting 4. Also, what's the right temp and how many times do you feed it a week? I heard people saying 3 times a ...

I was just wondering, how many can you put in a 120 gallon tank? Can you put more than 1 in a tank? Or would they kill each other?

Re: HELP!!! I lost one of my L260's!

I hate to say these, but I did warned you over our conversations before you even got the fish about treating them.. Out of all the plecos I have, L-260 are notorious for having lice and other parasites. Sorry to hear about your losses.

Re: L-66

I will go ahead and file up some slates in there with some gaps just enough for the frys to hide.. I checked out the caves earlier and they all seem to be doing well, I've seen them moving now, all the eggs have hatched.. Male is doing a good job for a first timer, unless I missed him spawn before..
