I received fishes labelled S. tenuirostre but the underneath part of the short snout is black like for S. nigrirostrum. How can I tell apart these 2 species without douibts ?

[ I've taken tens of shots of these guys. They were literally shots in the dark, for they are quite elusive. Do you use water or oil to cool the cutting wheel when using it ? Which kind of cutting wheel do you use? And how long does it take to cut a medium sized stone ?

Tatia aulopygia is described from Rio Guapore drainage. Do you think this species could have such a wide distribution range ??

T. aulopygia sometimes shows a spotted patern I've never sen in the Rio Ngero species. Perhaps this is not significant ....
