Re: Rescued some pictus

Thank you so much. I did read the profile on this site before I posted, but like I said I read a lot of different things on different sites, and sometimes the profiles of this species were totally different.

I believe they are pimelodus pictus as they look just like the pictures on the profile page ...

Rescued some pictus

Hello. I was here a while ago about a syno. eupterus and you guys were very helpful.
I am pleased to report that "Monstro" was upgraded from his 29g to a 50g(US) and is now much bigger at 9 inches! I decided that such a cool fish deserved his own show tank to himself! He has lots of driftwood and ...

Thank you for the reply.
I'm not worried about egg eating. I don't want any babies. My angels used to be in my 55g, but they constantly attacked my tetras and corys until I had to move them. They are wicked aggressive for angels. They think they are cons.

Hey. The apple snail is only 3 months old, so I should be good for a while. Thanks so much!

P.S.
What an awesome site! If only all fish species could have a site like this one, there would be a lot more happy aquarists(and fish). :)

New to cory cats, quick question...

Hi. I just got 3 aeneus corydoras (1 albino, 2 bronze) 2 days ago. I have a couple of questions. A lot of people told me to get 3 corys and a betta to fill a 10 gallon tank. So I did. The tank has been running a year when I added the cats. After visiting this site, I wonder now, will they out grow ...
