Thanks for that, I will maintain them at 28 C which is the current tank temperature. Wow they are very messy regarding the amount of poo they produce! Can't even imagine how much the larger plecs produce!!

Thanks Martin, yeah there are a lot of tetra possibilities, I suppose I was looking to put in something I've not kept before and a little more unusual. I love the idea of checkerboard cichlids, something I definitely wouldn't of thought of, thanks for the idea! :smile:

Love these fish!, is your tank long rather than deep? In a long tank your gulper has more options to decide it's preferred distance from the powerhead, and you will be able to work out whether it is enjoying the extra flow created or not. Look forward to the vid! :smile:

Hi, I'd go for the thoracata which in my experience are lively, if a little boisterous. They have tons of personality, and in my tank were not interested in making a meal of even the smallest tank mates. At meal times they're like fish- vacuums, especially for bloodworm!!
