Hi guys,
Noticed that Elko Kinlechner added tree photos of fry today. Anybody know if these are breed or wild?
I couldn't find Elko as a user and ask directly.

apistomaster, actually it is an interesting scenario with changing male in the cave with eggs:) Is such scenario possible?
Anyway thanks for helping to rise such question.

L255 is quite a bit flatter/wider body than your photos, I'd say (I have seen L255 and A. ranunculus in real life, and they are at least 4x wider than they are "tall").

Thanks guys, feel like I'm getting somewhere.
Take a look at the following and see what you think is closest in terms of body shape.
Ancistrus sp(l071)
Or this small spotted A. ranunculus -type from the Xingu
Ancistrus sp(l255)

Hi Shane, I've been looking at some pictures of the "common" Leticia Anicistrus. But I can't get myself to agree with you, may be that I just found some bad photos b-) My specimen is more like the L034 in bodyshape. Its black, and the spots are greenish. I've been looking around but I can't find ...

Hi guys,
I just acquired five grown L-200. I think there is four Hemiancistrus subviridis and one Baryancistrus demantoides correct me if I'm wrong. My plan is to try to do a mini setup of one of Haavard's tanks. But it is taking me a bit longer that planed to get it together. Meanwhile i was ...

Re: Pseudolithoxus dumus L244 Habitat info?
My starting consept was something like Haavard's subviridis tank, and I'm probably going to stick with with it. Based on there bodyshape I suspected them thrive in even faster moving water than some of the other speicies that come from the some area. But I might just be that they are caugth in the ...

L-183 eggs that finally hatched
A happy update. The male finaly managed to keep his egges in the cave long enough for them to hatch, he's currently on his second brood in the cave now. (he only needed five tries.. that I know of before the first one was a success)
The fourth time he kicked them out I managed to save the egges ...

Thanks for all the help guys. And yes Janne 10-11cm is TL:)
Any pointers on what your looking for on these to give a ID?
I'll separate them for now, and get some pictures again when they've grown a bit more.
Here are some photos for a few months back.

Theres both stone, cermic and bamboo caves in the tank, and all caves are placed realtive flat. So I dont think the is a problem with the eggs rolling out. Looks like he prefers a stone cave.
